ملء عين الزّمن سـيفنا والقـلمOur valour and our writings are the envy of the ages.

سهلنا والجبـل منبت للرجـالOur mountains and our valleys, they bring forth stalwart men.

قولنا والعمـل في سبيل الكمالAnd to Perfection all our efforts we devote.

شيخنـا والفتـى عنـد صـوت الوطنOur Elders and our children, they await our Country’s call,

أسـد غـاب متى سـاورتنا الفــتنAnd on the Day of Crisis they are as Lions of the Jungle.

شــرقنـا قلبـه أبــداً لبـنانThe heart of our East is ever Lebanon,

صانه ربه لمدى الأزمانMay God preserve her until end of time.

مجــدُهُ أرزُهُ رمزُهُ للخلودImmortality’s Symbol–the Cedar–is her Pride.
