Arabic & English Translation

O my country, with my struggle and my steadfastness

Repel the plots of the enemies

And be safe

Be safe for all time, for we are the sacrifice

Libya, Libya, Libya

O my country, you are the legacy of the forefathers

May God not protect a hand that reaches out to you

So be safe; we are, through the ages, soldiers

We do not care if you are saved from ruin

And take from us the pledges of our vows

We, O Libya, will never fail you

We shall not return to chains; we have been freed, and we have freed the الوطن

Libya, Libya, Libya

The forefathers stripped themselves of a keen resolve

The day a caller summoned them to struggle

Then they marched, carrying the Quran

In one hand, and in the other, a weapon

Then in the universe there was religion and purity

And then the world was goodness and righteousness

Eternity belongs to the forefathers; they have honored this homeland

Libya, Libya, Libya

O son of Libya, O son of the lions of the desert

We are for glory, and glory, and glory is ours

Since we set out, the people have praised the journey

May God bless our independence

So seek the heights, a lofty aim among mankind

And prepare, our lion cubs, for battle

For victory, O youth, this world is but struggle for the homeland
